Dear Food52 Community,

Last week, someone on Instagram gave us the highest compliment:

Thanks Elizabeth Britters!

Let me tell you a little bit about the unhinged yet tasteful things we’ve been putting on the internet:

Morning Ritual

Every weekday, we’re taking a peek inside a community member’s home to see how they make their coffee, what they do for breakfast, and if they look as disheveled as we do at 7 a.m. Post yours on Instagram or TikTok and tag @food52 and #f52morning for a chance to be shared.

Recipe Drop

Great new recipes developed by our Test Kitchen Team, dropped every weekday on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (psst: the recipes can also be found on the site).

Shop Spotlight

A new look at what makes our products special … and sometimes anthropomorphized. I’ll leave it there for you to check out. :)

Table Escape

Get daily table-setting ideas as Sarah Vasil, our Art Director, whips together gorgeous spreads with zen music in the background.

That’s Cool. Who Made it?

Our editor, Paul, roams the land, peppering our makers with questions to see how they produce the perfect wine glass, glaze plates, or cast an iron pan.

Break an Egg

A video series dedicated to the one meal you can eat any time of day: breakfast.

Tournament of Salads

A new twist on our recipe contests with a whole new community focus—cast your votes and sign up to be a judge!

Did you notice we took the ads off our recipes so now you can actually read them?

We’ve also got new photography and lovable new products:

More soon, friends!

Before starting Food52 with Merrill, I was a food writer and editor at the New York Times. I've written several books, including "Cooking for Mr. Latte" and "The Essential New York Times Cookbook." I played myself in "Julie & Julia" -- hope you didn't blink, or you may have missed the scene! I live in Brooklyn with my husband, Tad, and twins, Walker and Addison.
