Hello Kitty is celebrating 50 years and there is an exhibit at the Tokyo National Museum. Basically it is an Instagram friendly show with a collection of Hello Kitty items produced over the years.
If you love Kitty chan, then check it out. Be sure to go early, especially if you want to purchase items at the gift shop.
* You can NOT purchase a ticket at the museum. Only sold online or at 7-11 or other shops.
* I didn’t need to purchase anything, but was curious to look at the gift shop. However, the line to get into the exhibit was 45 minutes. The line for the gift shop was over an hour. I gave up. 🤣
Should you go? Unless you are a devotee of Miss Kitty I would pass. The exhibit runs through February 24th.
